    Projects worked at labs: 1979-1982 - worked in CS department as part of the computerized drug design group. 1982-1984 - worked in Genetics department on genome mapping studies in the lab of Maynard Olson (now at University of Washington).
    Projects worked since labs: Now work as a financial risk manager in the banking sector in New York. Completed a PhD in Physiology from Yale University and an MBA in Finance/Statistics from the University of Chicago. Was a postdoctoral fellow at Rockefeller University in New York.
    Influence on career: Am always using computers in my work - finance has become very computer based. Frequently I am the person who interfaces between the application developers/technology groups, the quantitative modeling groups, and the business side/senior management. Having a technology background helps in translating between these different worlds.
